Who Can Join?
We welcome men who:
- Are of good character.
- Believe in a Supreme Being.
- Are aged 18 or over.
- Are willing to conform to the ancient usages and customs of the Fraternity.
About us
Downshire Lodge is a fraternal organisation dedicated to the principles of Brotherly Love, Relief, and Truth. We are a lodge of Free and Accepted Masons, operating under the jurisdiction of the United Grand Lodge of England.
Our lodge has a rich history, having been consecrated on 17 September, 1892. We are proud to be part of a long tradition of Freemasonry, an organisation that has fostered good men for centuries.
We are a diverse group of men from all walks of life, united by a common desire to improve ourselves and make a positive difference in the world. We welcome men of good character who believe in a Supreme Being, regardless of their religious, ethnic, social, or educational background.
